FDA Approved: Toxic Decayed Meat Being Sold As “Fresh”
Here is one more of the ugly truths about FDA. It about meat: the corporate groceries are making decayed meat look fresh and are selling it to people. This practice is banned in Europe and Japan only.
Over two thirds of the chicken and beef in Canada and the USA is toxic, because of the carbon monoxide it contains. This gas is used by corporations in order to make the meat look fresh, the FDA approve it and make nothing about it, even though they know what the risks are.
The Congress intended to label the meat treated with carbon monoxide with a bill they wanted to enact, but even though introduced in 2007 by the name H.R.3115, never came to light. The reason for that is that the corporate lobby groups did not allow it.
Carbon monoxide is a gas that has the ability to react with the pigment of any meat and make it look bright red and fresh. Even the odor is eliminated, so there are no signs of the meat being rancid, as well as infested with bacteria like E-coli, Campylobacter or Salmonella.
Now all signs by which people could tell which meat is good or not good are eliminated, and it is ironic that the FDA has warned against meat packaging with no oxygen, because bacteria is inhibited that way.
Even cooking and processing meat with the aforementioned bacteria, treated with carbon monoxide, cannot eliminate the toxins from it.
The FDA also accepted the Generally Regarded As Safe (GRAS) notifications by which acceptance the existing regulations and Federal statutes are ignored. It is so because they help corporations deceive consumers, by claiming that carbon monoxide is GRAS.
Many European countries banned this practice of treating with carbon monoxide, because, as the Scientific Committee on Food of the European Commission reckons, it is not only deceiving in terms of looks, but it is also toxic. This gas sticks to hemoglobin, taking the place of oxygen and goes in the bloodstream, causing disorders in the organism. Often use of this kind of treated meat can cause death with CO poisoning.
People should be aware of what they eat and rise against GMO food for animals as well as for people.
