Homemade Cough Syrup from Black Radish
In order to make this honey herbal remedy you will need: 1 black radish weighting around one pound and homemade raw honey.
Wash the radish well and cut off the top and the bottom parts. Carve the radish with knife or spoon in order to make the wall to be wide 0.4-0.6 inches or 1 cm.
Using a toothpick or sticks for foods, make a tiny hole at the bottom part of the radish.
Apply acacia or honey in the middle. In case you don’t have any honey at home, or you are allergic on it, you can add white or brown sugar. Keep it in a warm area through the night.
Once it is drained you can consume one tablespoon in the morning and evening. If you suffer from severe coughing, you should consume one little teaspoon of the juice. At the end of the day, you can consume the radish as well. Don’t keep it for longer period of time.
This syrup is effective against allergic cough, makes the breathing easier and assists with bronchial catarrh.
