We all know that we should avoid the unhealthy food.  Many of as pay a lot of attention to what kind of food we consume and what kind of water we drink because eating healthy food and drinking two liters water per day have become the principles to most nutrition plans. We tend to avoid fatty, sugary and salty food and tend to consume plenty of vegetables, fruits, and bottled water.  The truth about the manufacture of food and beverages is to have higher earnings, instead to provide healthy food and drinks.  That is why you need to check what is written on the bottom of each plastic package which indicates just how dangerous plastic is.

PLASTIC-–-THE-SILENT-KILLER-Check-What-Is-Written-At-The-Bottom-Of-The-Plastic-Packaging

We are making a big mistake with buying water on daily basis, when we go to work while traveling, and even give a bottle of water to children for kindergarten and school. Isn’t sad but the truth is that consuming water from plastic bottles damages our health.

To know how dangerous the plastic bottle actually is, you only need to see the number in the middle of the bottle bottom.

The triangle with the number in the middle at the bottom of each package indicates how dangerous plastic actually is.

List of the things written on the plastic containers along with their properties:

HDP (sometimes HDPE)

This plastic is considered to be a fine plastic because it has the least chance for emissions of chemicals into the water. This kind of plastic is generally used for making plastic bags for groceries, but not for making plastic bottles.

PS

This is a kind of plastic which emits STYRENE into the water, a carcinogenic substance. So it’s used for production of fast food packaging and coffee cups for single use.

PET (often PETE)

This kind of bottles can emit carcinogenic compounds. Furthermore, it is possible to emit EPA chemical substance and heavy metals antimony, this substance interferes with the hormone function.

PC (or no label)

This plastic emits the substance BPA and it is definitely the most terrible one. It is used for fabrication of sports bottles, containers for food storage and sorrowfully, for production of bottles for infants.

PVC (sometimes 3V)

This sort of plastic emits two deadly chemicals and both of them mess with the function of hormones in our body. Unfortunately, it is the most common plastic used for bottles.

PP

This is one more “good” plastic which is usually with translucent or white color. This kind of plastic is used for the production of yogurt containers and bottles in which syrups are filled.

To summarize, the first one plastic is the safest, meaning HDPE and PP. Think again for the use of the other ones, as a good solution is to keep the water in a glass.
