Eight Year Old Girl Accidentally Found a Cure For Cancer?

An eight year old girl from Manchester had an idea of ​​simple and effective method of treating cancer as she chatted with her parents for dinner.

Eight year old Kamila Lisanti from Manchester gave the idea that completely changed the course of the study that deals with finding cure for cancer, and the results stunned everyone.

In fact, her father Michael is a famous oncologist, who has long been working on this research, he asked his daughter to dinner, how she would treat cancer. The girl thought about it and said that she would try with antibiotics, “same as with a sore throat.”

Professor Lisanti and his wife Federica, who is also part of the research team at the University of Manchester, tried out her theory and were amazed by the results. Using ordinary and very inexpensive antibiotics, they managed to completely destroy cancer cells.

Some antibiotics inhibit cells to produce the mitochondria, which are actually motors of each cell. Stem cancer cells, which produce a tumor, often have a large number of mitochondria.

During the research conducted, managed with simple antibiotics, which are much cheaper than any therapy for cancer, to destroy samples of stem cells taken from cancer of the breast, lung, prostate, pancreatic, ovarian, skin and brain.

Most importantly, antibiotics are not damaging healthy cells.

Professor Lisanti believes that antibiotics can be the safe and cost – effective solution for the treatment of cancer, and all thanks to his eight-year old daughter.

– At the beginning I thought it was naive, cancer treated with antibiotics, but it turned out that Camilla was right – said the proud father, adding that his daughter dreams of becoming a teacher.

The next step is testing on people, especially women suffering from breast cancer.

To honor the girl who unknowingly made a great contribution to this research, her parents named her as the author of the study.
