Here is Why You Need to Stop Drinking Cow’s Milk Immediately
If you were born during in the 70’s, 80’s or 90’s you must remember the two marketing campaigns on which we all were exposed at the time. The first one was under the slogan “it does a body good” in many states.
The second one was made by Goodby, Silverstein and Partners ant it was under the slogan “Got Milk?” Together with pictures of people with a milk mustaches. All these marketing campaigns made us think that the milk is the healthiest drink that we can find. But today we know that this is not true.
The Evidence against Milk
In the past 40 years many studies were conducted around the laboratories and universities around the globe which tested the ‘health benefits’ of the milk and how much it is healthy for our body.
A study was conducted in Sweden in which was compared the mortality rate in women who consumed three glasses of milk daily to women who consumed only one glass of milk or didn’t consume at all.
It was interesting that the mortality rate was twice as higher for the milk consumers and even more interesting, the women who consumed more milk had poor bone health and suffered more breaks than the women who didn’t drink too much milk.
Don’t get me wrong, it wasn’t the dairy products in general, it was particularly the milk since the mortality rate was way lower in women who consumed cheese and yogurt, fermented milk products which means that they had better bone health too. Here is a list of 8 reasons why you should avoid milk as much as you can:
1. The primary protein in milk is a cancer agent and it was proven in some animal studies.
2. Milk is the most common cause for allergies in the world.
3. Many people can’t drink milk because they cannot bare the lactose.
4. D-galactose which is included in milk can cause inflammation and it can cause quick aging which was proved in many studies.
5. According to some people’s experience the milk makes them vulnerable to acne and breakouts.
6. Many researches around the world have proved that the milk even increases the risk of prostate cancer, ovarian cancer, increased risk of ear infections and more cases of constipation.
7. Populations which consume more dairy products in their diet have increased possibilities of multiple sclerosis
8. According to some studies the protein in dairy foods can raise the IGF-1 level which is connected with some types of cancers. It can also cause raised cholesterol levels and obstruct arteries.
You should know that fermented milk products such as cheese and yogurt are beneficial for your health and you should use them in your diet regularly.
